We seek to provide clients with an environmental overview of the project at the initial stages, to assist in their understanding and decision making process. Integral to our delivery, our designers design in a sustainable manner and in line with BREEAM and Ska principles.
Depending on our clients’ environmental positioning, Artillery design with the following considerations:-
- Maximise available daylight and ventilation
- Utilise materials and products that are either non-toxic,
recycled or locally sourced
- Improve energy efficiency
- Minimise waste and water use
- Encourage recycling
- Adding cycling / showering facilities
In respect to contractor and supplier management we ensure that:-
- The construction period is monitored and measured to
achieve reuse,
recycling and waste reduction targets
- Construction waste is segregated and recycled where
possible
- Contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers are
environmentally vetted
We have a dedicated sustainability team focused on providing the best and most fitting environmental advice for each project; ensuring that Artillery as a company leads by example. We seek to gain a better understanding of our position, studying and examining the world as a whole to see if we can improve it in any small way.
