Advent Insurance specialises in "providing reinsurance cover to other insurance companies and also provide insurance protection to commercial enterprises with the objective of meeting their risk management needs". The design criterion for the new space was to create a contemporary office space that will take them through the next ten years and allow for expansions and further company development.

Artillery interpreted Advent's brief as a contemporary and bold space. The entire space is a black and white canvass interjected with bold colour.

Contemporary materials from outside the building industry were incorporated into the design and more traditional materials utilized in non-traditional methods.

Ceiling bulkheads were cut back from the windows to maximize natural daylight. Extensive glazing to typical meeting rooms, clear tube surrounds to informal meeting pods and freestanding partitions allow views and light to permeate through the space. Back lit ' light' columns and portals to meeting rooms create an atmospheric glow and warmth in the public area while maintaining a clean, professional and contemporary space.

The new broker's cafe provides a series of spaces of varying degrees of privacy and formality to allow for all levels of business discussions.
