The London office is also home to the European Headquarters. Therefore, CoStar was looking at having a global corporate image, while maintaining a local influence. The image of the office had to be modern, dynamic and professional.
The use of greys and yellows, glass and metals creates a wow factor and a high end feel. A bespoke reception area was designed incorporating CoStar's brand colours and a touch of pink. The new Costar office is a lot more client facing than previous offices, therefore the design in the front of house and public areas was important.
The new office works on a circulation route. The tour includes the meeting rooms equipped with the latest video conference system and views of the Sales department, the managing directors' office, Marketing and possibly Software development. Clients are included on this tour; therefore, the behind-the-scenes working of the company had to be as high-end as the public areas.
