The creation of an office with a club style environment and state of the art facilities was required for the Soho based post production company using Japanese and Modernist aesthetics.
Editing suites, waiting areas and entertaining spaces all needed to be incorporated into the design.
A series of pavilions were designed and installed to house support facilities, viewing galleries, editing suites, break out spaces and a café.
The post production facilities included a framed timber platform reminiscent of Kabuki theatre setting where the clients can spend their time working with the editors.
A large data room highlights VTRs portfolio of projects. The open areas are set in an interior bamboo garden.
Due to the limited availability of natural light, a variety of artificial lighting systems were used to create the desired environment. Materials included illuminated glass, timber panelling and weather boarding, which all contributed to the modern environment.
