Improving internal communication was key to the design. Selecting a two storey building, which required predominantly cellular occupation led to numerous design challenges.
The solution involved breaking through the first floor slab and creating a new atrium complete with roof lighting. Suspended pods within the atrium provided space for meetings, with an internal garden at ground level allowing for informal gatherings.
