Unilever undertook a post-occupancy review and decided that certain areas of Unilever House could be more commercially utilised. Artillery transformed a large double storey exhibition facility into an auditorium for 130 people, with separate control rooms and a full cinema.
The design incorporated delegate conferencing and control room facilities, an ante room entertainment facility and a non-branded reception, enabling any organisation hiring the venue to transform the space to suit their needs.
An east wing of Unilever House was converted into an independent conferencing and private dining facility, including flexible meeting spaces and supporting workshop rooms. A Michelin quality kitchen using induction technology was provided to support these facilities.
The Grade II listed entrance to the conference suite was restored, raising the existing stone floor and integrating a modern contemporary interior.
