Amnesty's freehold buildings were considered impractical and hazardous, so were refurbished. The individual identity of the organisation was reflected through the use of sustainable materials and the creation of an innovative and functional environment, encouraging communication and interaction. The buildings have increased in value, in excess of the money spent, and received a 'Very Good' BREEAM rating.
