We are delighted that one of our clients, Graeae Theatre, has won the British Council for Offices prestigious award for the Best Project up to 2000m2 for their newly converted and adapted building at Bradbury Studios, Kingsland Road, Hackney. Anyone who lives in the area or who has passed by, cannot miss this striking and innovative conversion of a long established building.

Graeae's building has also been nominated for the BCO National Innovation Award.

To work on a project which started with uncertain funding and a considerable amount of legal issues, involving a building earmarked for, and already part converted into, a series of live/work units, was a pleasure. Coming out of such a testing beginning, the huge success of the end project is even more of an achievement, allowing Graeae to continue to produce its wonderful and varied programme, and a real tribute to the vision and determination of the team at Graeae and their architects, Artillery.
