Artillery custom designs disabled theatre studiosGraeae, a disabled-led theatre company in Hackney, has won an award for its sustainable offices which were converted by Artillery.24 May 2010
The company won the 'Best project up to 2,000m2' accolade at the British Council for Offices (BCO) London and South East Regional Awards 2010 for its workspace, which also includes sensitive heating and lighting systems, and updated acoustics and WCs.
Artillery has provided a customised resource with the most up-to-date facilities where artists can undertake training and professional development and can rehearse and network
Graeae's new Bradbury Studios headquarters in Hackney were also nominated for the National Innovation Award and will go head to head with other regional finalists at the national awards in October.
The company also redistributed 90 per cent of its used items for reuse during the office move.
