Artillery's 21 Gun Salute13 October 2008
London based Artillery Architecture and Interior Design plans a party for clients to celebrateits 21st birthday. They include Diageo, Amnesty International and The Guardian.
The Commonwealth Bank of Australia recently appointed Artillery to redesign the interior of its building in London EC4. The 2,000 sq m fit out will include a grid pattern of internal ribbon lighting in the floor and sloping, hand carved walls as focal points.
The firm has an annual turnover of £1.8m. It has 30 staff in London and eight in offices in Melbourne, Australia. Recent recruits include team leader Ken Lee and designer Vanessa Farrell. Managing director David Back says: 'The new staff add to our diversity of skills and this is of benefit in the current economic downturn, allowing us to take advantage of every opportunity.'
